Thank you for your interest in becoming a Charis Bible Studies Group Leader. It is an opportunity for you to touch your world with the Gospel. This will give you a non-threatening way to share the Gospel and disciple your family, friends, neighbours, co-workers or the person that you just led to Christ. Whether you are starting a church, going on the mission field, starting an extension school or want to touch your neighbourhood, this is an excellent way to touch lives with the Gospel.
As a CBS leader, materials and tools that you need for your Study are supplied to you at no charge. What has been deposited in you during your time at Charis Bible College, is far too valuable to keep to yourself. We want to help you to share it with your world. We are here to support and encourage you in your ministry.
To get started, simply review the Requirements and Guidelines, then complete an Application.
Once you have completed these three steps you are on your way to touching your world with a Charis Bible Study. If we can be of assistance or answer any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Curriculum:
Consists of study guides of Andrew Wommack. We recommend that each new group start with Spirit, Soul, and Body.
Bible Study Scheduling:
The Group Leader will have the option of meeting weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
NOTE:
People often choose studies based on any or all of the following:
- Day of the week
- Meeting times
- Frequency
- Duration
- Location
Whatever decisions you make regarding the schedule of your study, we suggest that you try to be consistent throughout your study so that all attendees may plan their schedules accordingly.
Frequency & Duration of Study:
Below is an example of a potential study, often used. Spirit, Soul, and Body study. (23 lessons)
NUMBER OF LESSONS | FREQUENCY | DURATION |
---|---|---|
A lesson | Weekly | Six months |
A lesson | Fortnightly | One Year |
A lesson | Monthly | Two Years |
After completing Spirit, Soul, and Body, the Group Leader may select the next study based on the needs of the group. For Example, some attendees in a group may be dealing with sickness. Therefore, the Group Leader may choose “God Wants You Well” for the next study to address healing. Alternatively, attendees of another group may be struggling with finances. As a result, the Group Leader may choose the study “Financial Stewardship” to address prosperity.
We suggest that each Group Leader complete two studies in one year, however, we realise this may not be possible due to personal schedules. Nevertheless, in order to post the next Study Guides, we suggest submitting all required information online four to six weeks prior to the start date. Available study guides range in length from 14 to 26 lessons.
Charis Bible Study Structure:

The maximum capacity will be left to the discretion of the Group Leader depending on the size of the meeting location. The Group Leader will have the option of conducting men only or women only Bible Studies. Childcare will be left to the discretion of the Group Leader depending on the needs of the group.
